The Wet-Pack Option allows any SP Industries compactor to be modified to handle wet waste. With this option, the compactor is raised so that it is at least 4” higher when it enters the container. Additionally, the floor of the compactor is sloped toward the compactor to insure that liquids drain into the container and not behind the ram or beneath the machine. The breaker bar is moved back so as to allow the machine to have more penetration into the container to help keep waste in when separating the container and the compactor. A special baffle plate is added to the compactor to also keep liquids in the charge chamber and flowing into the compaction container. Innovative ideas that save you money!
